Petrochem (India) was founded to link manufacturers across Japan, China, Thailand, South Korea, Saudi Arabia and Singapore with India's rubber, polymer and chemical industry - importing and supplying the raw materials that end up in tyres, cables, rollers, automotive parts and footwear.
Under Managing Director Sandeep Madaan, in the trade for over 40 years, PCI operates as an all-India marketing organisation for synthetic rubbers, elastomers, specialty polymers and processing chemicals - working directly with clients to match grade, price and delivery to what the production line actually needs.
On the stand
A working sample of what's on offer at Hall 05 - the polymers, elastomers and cross-linkers that shape midsoles, soling compounds and uppers.
Foam compound for cushioning midsoles - sourced via LG Chem and Sipchem.
Cold-polymerised grades 1502 & 1712 for outsoles and mechanical goods - Kumho Petrochemical.
Oil and solvent-resistant rubber for soles and industrial parts - Kumho, LG Chem, Zeon.
Radial block copolymer named by the manufacturer for footwear and solvent-based adhesives - Kumho.
Ethylene-based elastomer that softens and adds impact resistance to PE/PP blends - Mitsui Chemicals.
Curing agent for EVA, PE and synthetic rubber - used across shoemaking and EPS lines.
